Artists' book "SoundVisions" is out 05.06.2005
"SoundVisions" a large scale and long time project edited by Torsten Möller, Kunsu Shim and Gerhard Stäbler published by PFAU (Saarbrücken) appeared this week.

Inspired by John Cage's collection "Notation" the book presents a cross-section of more than 150 composers from all over the world including such different authors like Pierre Boulez, Luc Ferrari, hespos, Nicolaus A. Huber, Mauricio Kagel, György Ligeti, Helmut Lachenmann, Alvin Lucier, Pauline Oliveros, Josef Anton Riedl, and Christian Wolff.

The editors hope the volume can "convey an idea of the seemingly infinite possibilities of the visual re-creation of acoustic visions".

Harald Muenz's entry (pp. 196-197) focuses on two score excerpts from "writing" (1998).

Lecturer in Music in London 04.06.2005
Starting from September 2005, I will be a Lecturer in Music in the School of Arts at Brunel University, West London.

The job was particularly advertised for interdisciplinary composers "with a strong core discipline".

This will be another challenge for my artistic and research activities.

In addition to that, London is amongst the most vibrant cities of the world.

At the same time I will keep in very close touch with Cologne where I will maintain my production studio base.
